Snaking 10.4 km from Cesana Torinese, at an altitude of 1300 metres, to Sestriere at 2035 meters above sea level, the CE-SE—as it is called by devotees—is one of the most exciting courses due to its natural roads.

The not-to-be-missed international event organised by Automobile Club di Torino is being held for the thirty-seventh time: more than 120 drivers will compete on the course climbing from 1300 metres above sea level in Cesana Torinese to 2035 in Sestriere. The unique and spectacular route links two destinations popular among summer and winter tourists alike.

FCA Heritagewill be present at the event with two splendid Alfa Romeo cars from the Museo Storico in Arese: the Giulia GTA (1965) and the Giulia SS (1963).

Enjoying undisputed dominance in the races of its time, the Giulia GTA is one of the models imprinted most clearly in fans' memories. The design is similar to that of the Sprint GT, but the all-important difference is the weight. Its much lighter construction allowed the car to gain speed on the tarmac and add an A to the letters in its name.

The Giulia Sprint Speciale was the evolution of the Giulietta version of the same name. One of Franco Scaglione's loveliest creations, this coupé has truly iconic looks: low-slung and sleek, with sinuously curving lines. The absence of bumpers and the "shark mouth" radiator immediately gave it dream car status.

The two classic cars will be trail-blazers at the event, opening both the free practice session on the Saturday and the race itself on the Sunday. It will be a meeting between automotive generations, since fans attending the Cesana-Sestriere will also be able to feast their eyes on the latest novelties in the Alfa Romeo range: Stelvio Quadrifoglio and Giulia Veloce TI.

Get in the Ce-Se mood, read the story of the FCA Heritage cars present at the event:

Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA: a top Alfa race-winner;

Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint Speciale: a truly "Special" Giulia.
