FCA Heritage and Formula 1 meet at the 2017 Italian Grand Prix

On Sunday 3 September historic car enthusiasts have the chance to admire some of the finest racing cars, not only on display but also on the circuit.

On the days prior to the GP, the classic models will be on show in a tensile structure in the fan zone of the Monza Circuit. Amongst them, the 1931 Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 Le Mans from the FCA Heritage collection

However, the culminating moment will be at 12.30 pm on Sunday: the drivers competing in the race will take to the track in a classic car for the traditional Drivers' Parade that precedes the Italian round of the World Championship.

The 1931 8C 2300 Le Mans will be driven by Arturo Merzario, the former Italian racing driver who is now honorary president of the Scuderia del Portello, formed to conserve and promote Alfa Romeo racing models.

One of the most eagerly awaited weekends in the automotive calendar is inevitably a great celebration, so FCA Heritage has come up with a special gift for all motoring fans showing an Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 Le Mans, winner of four Le Mans 24 Hour races, from 1931 to 1934.
