On 22 April the municipality of Cernobbio hosts the 2017 edition of Villa d'Este Style.

For the first time in its history, the prestigious Villa d'Este Style classic car fashion event in Cernobbio will open to the public, who will be able to admire a spectacular lineup of vehicles.

Alongside the famous Berlinettas designed by coachbuilder Carrozzeria Touring, the event will welcome a star guest: the Alfetta 158, in which Giuseppe "Nino" Farina won the first Formula 1 World Championship in 1950.
In the early days of Formula 1, the Alfetta 158 was the car to beat. Its racing career began in 1938 and ended in 1951 when its final version, the 159, won the World Championship with Juan Manuel Fangio at the wheel.

The precious single-seater from the Milanese marque belongs to the Heritage collection of the Alfa Romeo Historical Museum – La Macchina del Tempo in Arese, and will be on public display alongside 6C 2500 models for a limited time in the main square of Cernobbio on 22 April.
The 6C 2500 SS Villa d'Este is the model that won the "Gran Premio per Referendum", or People's Choice Award, at the last edition of the Villa d'Este Concorso d'Eleganza in 1949, thanks above all to a style that heralded a new era in Italian automotive design, marked by an amazing lightness of touch and balance.

Finally, the public will also be able to admire the latest Alfa Romeo models, the Stelvio SUV and the Giulia, which represent the FCA Group’s engine technology at its best.
