FIAT MULTIPLA 6x6

25 years after its debut in Frankfurt, Heritage has created an exclusive collectible Fiat Multipla 6x6. A one-off for sale that bears the hallmarks of designer Roberto Giolito, now Head of Stellantis Heritage (Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Lancia, Abarth), and father of the 1998 model. The first "3+3" seater in its segment was so innovative that in 1999 it was exhibited at MoMA and won the title of “Car of the Year” on TV programme Top Gear.

The Multipla redefines the designer's role by dispelling the common notion that designers are solely concerned with styling and aesthetics. In this project, the Fiat Style Centre, in conjunction with an outstanding team, not only gave the car its shape but also conceived its technical and functional characteristics. The result is a revolutionary and unconventional vehicle that combines conceptual originality with a very powerful and communicative design.

The Heritage project is inspired by the six personalities imagined by Giolito in 1998 to coincide with the model’s launch (hence the name 6X6), which embodied different approaches to experiencing the Multipla. They adorn both the interior of this one-off, depicted on the seats, and each have their own very distinctive character: from the explorer, the child racer and the attractive lady, to the elegant gent, the monk and the rebellious Seventies youth.

Virtual images: some details of the real car may differ.

The same refinement characterises the Turchese Bio paintwork, which becomes the backdrop for the overall design of the six personalities applied on the bonnet and side panels. The livery evokes open spaces and the sea, as well as the strong eco-friendly credentials of the model, with its low-emission engines.
The overall effect is accentuated by the mouldings, wheels and bumpers painted in Grey White, a neutral colour that elegantly breaks up the blue body finish.
