A JOURNEY BETWEEN TRADITION AND SPORT

In the 2023 edition, the 1000 Miglia offers up an unexpected surprise: there will be five days of competition, from 13 to 17 June. The 405 cars that have qualified for the departure from Brescia are ready for the challenge and will travel through places resplendent with a timeless aura. Once again, we can cross and discover the beauty of this country and the wealth of our automotive heritage.

To this day, the 1000 Miglia is synonymous with elegance and sport, whilst maintaining its distinctive competitive spirit. It is an event that attracts spectators from all over the world, both to explore the wonderful Italian locations and to share their enthusiasm for vintage cars, framed by an unparalleled artistic and cultural context.

THE MAIN PLAYERS

Alfa Romeo will be the star of this event, with three historic models from our collection.

Alfa Romeo 2000 Sportiva Franco Scaglione’s draughtsmanship always manages to stand out, and in 1954 the design of the 2000 Sportiva marked a fundamental stage in the brand’s stylistic evolution. We see it again in the refined Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint, which rolled out of the Bertone workshop the same year and was met with resounding success.

The Alfa Romeo 1900 Sport Spider, a prestigious barchetta prototype designed by Franco Scaglione for the Bertone bodyshop and developed as of 1900, is the car that marked Alfa Romeo’s renaissance in the post-war period

The Alfa Romeo 1900 Super Sprint, a favourite for gentleman drivers in the 1950s, was assembled by the Touring Superleggera workshop in Milan. It was also derived from the 1900 and is equipped with an enhanced engine, designed to give the right adrenaline rush to fans of performance.
